Privacy Policy
SayPoint is developed by Leslie Street Studio LLC. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Data Collection
SayPoint does not collect any personal information. The app does not require an account, registration, sign-in, or any user-provided data beyond what you enter to play (player names and scores).
Speech Recognition
SayPoint uses Apple's on-device speech recognition (the Speech framework) to convert your voice commands into text, and on-device speech synthesis to read scores back to you. All speech processing happens locally on your device. Your voice audio is never transmitted to Leslie Street Studio, to Apple's servers, or to any third party. The only network activity related to speech is a one-time download of Apple's on-device speech model, which is managed entirely by iOS/iPadOS and is not something SayPoint or Leslie Street Studio has access to.
SayPoint requests microphone and speech recognition permissions solely to enable voice commands. You can decline or later revoke these permissions in Settings; SayPoint remains fully usable via touch controls if you do.
Data Storage
All game data — player names, scores, game history, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to the developer, any server, or any third party. Deleting the app removes all stored data. Nothing is synced to iCloud or any other service in this version.
Advertising
SayPoint contains no advertising of any kind. No ad networks are integrated into the app.
In-App Purchases
SayPoint is a one-time purchase. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or additional paywalled content. All transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Leslie Street Studio does not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of purchase data.
Analytics and Tracking
SayPoint does not use any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking services of any kind. The app does not collect device identifiers, usage statistics, or location information.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
Updates to this privacy policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
